From my heart

As I have said before, my friend, Joe Dorman, challenged me to learn a bible verse each day.  I have not been good at this, so I decided one a week.  

  For week 1... Here are some  thoughts.... My goal each day is to be happy. Sounds simple, doesn't it?  My choices determine my attitude. My attitude affects not only me, but those around me.  

Proverbs 16:9

 A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

If the Lord is directing my steps, surely happiness will follow.  That's my plan.  What is your plan?

Ecclesiastes 12:13 & 14

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil.

My friend, Joe Dorman, recently challenged me to post a Bible verse each day.  After the events of the last week in our community, I thought this would be a good place to start.

John 16:22

Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice and your joy, no one will take from you.
